Her educational background is in Clinical Psychology (MA, NYU), where she focused on structural family therapy and psychodynamic individual therapy. Jill received her undergraduate degree from Yale, where she majored in Literature with a concentration on English Romantic poetry. Her thesis was awarded the best of its year in that department.

To this end, she has attended to how the members of the board function individually and as a whole, and has been working with the board to operationalize deliberate methods of interaction.

Jill lives in Westchester County, NY, with her husband, Adam, and her two sons, Saul (6), and Lukas (3).
