PHYLLIS AND JEROME LYLE RAPPAPORT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

  Kat Edwards

  As Executive Director Kat Edwards leads the
  foundation’s strategic planning and execution by
  working collaboratively on a wide range of issues
  related to the foundation’s goals and priorities. She
  develops and maintains partnerships with leaders
  in public policy and government affairs as well as
  manages the existing and evolving strategic
  partnerships with Harvard University, Suffolk Law
  School, Massachusetts General and McLean
  Hospitals, the DeCordova Museum, and other
  institutions. Edwards provides the foundation
team with clear strategic leadership and tactical direction.

She is an accomplished professional with over ten years in executive
communications and marketing management of Boston real estate companies
and six years managing a non-profit environmental organization. Ms. Edwards
most recently worked as Director of the Concord Land Conservation Trust, as an
environmental commissioner for the Town of Concord, and prior to that, as
Executive Vice President of Donald Tofias & Co. and W-Class Racing Yachts. She
received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University in Environmental
Policy.

Edward’s diverse background is the perfect fit to advance the Foundation goals
of funding promising leaders, dynamic public policy ideas, neurological research
and the creative vision of emerging artists. Kat uses her extensive experience in
development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies to
further her deep commitment to the foundation’s mission, “I truly believe it’s
about sincerity of purpose and inspiring people to believe that they can make a
difference, and then helping them to make that difference.”
