"Crime Watch Efforts May Be Fine-tuned," by Suzanne Smalley, The Boston Globe, 9/7/2005, reported on work done by Duncan Shipley-Dalton, a Rappaport Summer Public Policy Fellow who worked for the Boston Police Department.

"Somerville counts on wonks-in-training for budget overhaul," by Robert Preer in Commonwealth Magazine Winter 2005 described work done by an Institute-supported Kennedy School course in budgeting and management.
"At 25, Prop. 2½ Still Controversial: Some want update; others say tax cap is only protection homeowners have," by Tom Benner, The Patriot Ledger, 11/4/2005, quoted Phineas Baxandall, then the Institute’s assistant director, who provided technical assistance to the Metro Mayors Coalition task force on local finance.
