Biography

Hacibey Catalbasoglu is a 2L at the Boston University School of Law. Over the years, he’s worked in various roles throughout Connecticut, including in New Haven’s housing department, Connecticut Attorney General William Tong’s office, Connecticut Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz’s office, and United States Senator Chris Murphy’s office. Most recently, he served as a city councilman in New Haven, representing the Downtown neighborhood. Hacibey is the first person in his family to go to college. As a Rappaport Fellow, he will intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
