Who We Are

The impact of Rappaport Fellows’ work can be felt in every facet of government, medicine and the arts.

Jannelle Cioffi Director and Controller

Jannelle Cioffi began with the Rappaport family in 1994 and has been with the Foundation since its inception.

She has held a variety of board positions in her local community as well. She was treasurer of the Westford Elementary School PTO, fundraising chair for Nashoba Youth Hockey and president of Brestyan’s Parent Organization.

Jannelle lives in Westford, Mass., with her husband Michael and their three children, Ellie, Sam and Delilah.

Sean D. Horrigan Director of Communications

Sean Horrigan is a marketing communications veteran with over 25 years of experience in public relations, event planning, digital marketing, branding and social media.

As a marketing communications consultant, Sean has worked with such nonprofit clients as Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, The Mass League of Community Health Centers, The Boston Center for the Arts, Fenway Health, Human Rights Campaign, Casa Myrna Vazquez, New Bedford Community Health Center and Commonwealth Kitchen.

Sean holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications and a Master’s in Marketing Communications from Emerson College, where he is a member of the college’s Board of Alumni Directors.

Timothy J. Medlock Executive Director

Tim joined the foundation in 2017 after 18 years with New Boston Fund, Inc., the Rappaports’ private equity real estate investment platform, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to New Boston Tim served in various capacities over 13 years, most recently as Vice President and Treasurer, at PaineWebber Properties, Inc., a real estate investment subsidiary of what is now UBS. As Executive Director of the Rappaport Foundation, Mr. Medlock manages existing and evolving strategic partnerships with Harvard University, Boston College Law School, Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the deCordova Museum, The Boston Foundation and other forward-thinking impactful institutions. Mr. Medlock graduated from Colgate University with a BA in Mathematical Economics and the Stern School of Business at New York University. Tim and his wife Mary Lou live in North Andover, Massachusetts.
