Adrien Gigliotta, PhD, is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Neurogenomics and Translational Behavioral Laboratory (NG-TBL) and at Harvard Medical School, and an affiliate member of the Broad Institute. Dr. Gigliotta received his BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Corsica and an MSc in Neuroscience from Aix-Marseille University. He completed his PhD in 2024 at the University of Helsinki under the mentorship of Professor Iiris Hovatta.
Dr. Gigliotta specializes in the application of multiomics approaches combined with in vitro models to investigate how distinct neural cell types respond to stress and trauma at the molecular level. His overarching research goal is to identify cell-type-specific mechanisms that can be leveraged to develop more precise and effective therapeutic strategies for psychiatric disorders.
