I am honored to have been chosen as a Rappaport Fellow, and excited to be joining a cohort of outstanding colleagues in pursuit of the public interest.

The Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy Fellows Program affords 12 law students from eight Massachusetts law schools the opportunity to work in a state or local government agency during the summer.

Project Description
As an intern in the Administrative Law Division of the Attorney General’s Office, Dan has had a front-row seat to a number of legal and policy issues affecting the Commonwealth. His work has ranged from assisting attorneys in defending constitutional challenges to state laws and appeals from agency decisions, to analyzing pending legislation.

Dan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BA in history and earned his MA in social studies education from Duke University. He taught high school history for 17 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District and Boston Public Schools
