The 2023 Rappaport Awardee Zachary Hermes, MD, implemented a digital social-emotional health tool for use in Dorchester schools. This tool engaged students in daily emotional check-ins, fostering self-awareness and helping them identify emotions. It provided teachers with vital insights into students' well-being, enabling personalized support and monitoring of emotional trends. The Rappaport Foundation not only supported the initial innovation but also facilitated the project's expansion to two additional sites.
