The Rappaport Urban Fellowship provides elected and appointed officials from Greater Boston with full-tuition scholarships to attend the Kennedy School of Government's Masters in Public Administration program.

Biography
Kathleen King, is currently the Assistant Town Manager for the City of Needham. Prior to that King was Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office of Intergovernmental Relations of the City of Boston. King attended the Harvard Kennedy School as the Rappaport Urban Scholar for the 2019-2020 academic year. King has worked for both Mayor Walsh and Mayor Menino in the Department of State Relations and the Office of Intergovernmental Relations. She has worked for the City of Boston since 2013. She has also worked for the American Lung Association of the Northeast, and the American Cancer Society. She has a MPH from Boston University School of Public Health and a BA in Sociology from Boston University.
