The Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy Fellows Program affords 12 law students from eight Massachusetts law schools the opportunity to work in a state or local government agency during the summer.

Project Description
Throughout the summer, Robyn assisted attorneys in the Consumer Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office with investigations and pre-trial litigation within the debt collection and auto dealership industries. Additionally, she researched and analyzed policy initiatives regarding “Tobacco 21” laws and restrictions on e-cigarettes, vaping, and flavored tobacco products.

Robyn graduated with honors from American University in 2013 with a BA in communications and a minor in political science. Prior to law school, Robyn was the policy director and deputy chief of staff for Boston City Councilor Michael Flaherty. Her passion for public service evolved as she worked closely on a wide array of legislative matters, from housing and public safety to transportation and the environment.
