The Equalizer Institute is a social economic justice initiative at the New England Legal Foundation that will provide free corporate legal services to underserved entrepreneurs to help them start businesses. EI fills the gap that exists between civil legal aid for low-income people and market rate law firms. EI will leverage staff counsel with law student interns and law firm pro bono assistance to help entrepreneurs lift themselves to prosperity.
