Lila Flavin is board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. She is a psychiatrist practicing in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and on faculty at Harvard Medical School with a special focus on perinatal mental health. She is a graduate of Princeton University, where she received her BA in psychology. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed psychiatry residency at NYU and addiction medicine fellowship at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
She writes essays and fiction. Her writing has appeared in The American Journal of Psychiatry and The Healer’s Burden, among other publications.
